A Study of the Influence of Furniture on the Thermal Behaviour of Interior Thermal Mass

摘要

Present day thermal behaviour models assume direct solar energy entering a room through windows to be evenly distributed over room surfaces, but in reality the distribution depends on window positions and interior furniture. This paper describes a study of the shading effects of furniture on the thermal behaviour of interior thermal mass.
