The nameTrichosporonoides oedocephalisn. gen., n. sp. is given to a fungus which forms true mycelium, pseudomycelium, arthrospores, and budding cells as doesTrichosporonBehrend, but which also produces conidiospores on the swollen tips of aseptate sporophores which may or may not be aerial. The organism is described and illustrated.
