Sharp's Solar Cells Power-up Tokai University's Solar Car

Sharp Corporation will provide high-efficiency solar cells to a team from Tokai University that will take part in the forthcoming Global Green Challenge. In particular, the team will participate in the solar car category in what is considered as one of the longest solar car racing competition that will take place in Australia.The solar car category of the Global Green Challenge, which will take place from October 25 to 31, 2009, are solar energy-powered vehicles that will traverse the vast Australian continent.
