Admitting that you've had a major reversal in an opinion is tough. Making that admission on a subject as highly charged as genetically modified crops, in a very public way, has got to be even more difficult, which is one of the reasons the British environmental advocate Mark Lynas has been making headlines the past week (see Page 12).
