Synthesis of (#xB1;)-Epiderstatin

摘要

A new glutarimide antibiotic epiderstatin was synthesized in dl-form. Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction of an aldehyde with a phosphonate gave enones which were converted into (#xB1;)-epiderstatin and its diastereomerviaintramolecular amidoselenation as a key step.
