Time Optimal Control and the Duffing Oscillator

摘要

The time optimal origin seeking problem is considered for the Duffing Oscillator as an illustration of the Maximum Principle of Pontryagin. Switching curves are given for several cases and the phenomenon of lobesweeping discussed.
