Recently, as increasing bit rate of optical networks and expanding network size to meet future traffic demands, the transmission lines should he treated as time-varying network due to temperature and mechanical variations. The blind equalization technique should be applied to equalize polarization mode dispersion and residual chromatic dispersion variation in dispersion managed transmission systems. We propose a new scheme for PMD equalization using SHG as control signal in variable optical lattice equalizing circuit and report some experimental results using Panda lattice circuit and QPM-LN SHG.
