摘要

PassiveQhyphen;switching of the flashlamp pumped Tm,Cr:Y3Al5O122hyphen;mgr;m laser with a Ho:YLiF4saturable absorber has been demonstrated at room temperature. A singleQhyphen;switched laser pulse of 11 mJ in energy and sim;45 ns in duration at 80 J flashlamp input energy was obtained. The wavelength of theQhyphen;switched laser output pulse and the Tm,Cr:Y3Al5O12freehyphen;running output was 2.017 mgr;m. copy;1994 American Institute of Physics.
