This paper proposes the application of CMA adaptive array to narrowband linear modulation scheme with quasi-constant envelope in order to achieve the high speed and high quality transmission with high spectral efficiency over mobile radio channel. An adaptive array has the capacity to reject the delayed wave, which obstructs the high speed and high quality transmission, and the CMA adaptive array, which can be applied only to a constant envelope modulation, is promising scheme because of easy implementation. The narrowband linear modulation scheme with quasi-constant envelope has a feature of low power spectral density at the out of band, even alter the non4inear amplification, and suits the application of CMA adaptive array. This paper also evaluates the bit error rate (BER) performance of proposed system by using the computer simulation. The simulation result shows that the CMA adaptive array remarkably improves the BER performance, and that the degradation of BER due to envelope fluctuation is negligible.
