Multiple Anaerobic Hepatic Abscesses Demonstrated on Hepatobiliary Scintigraphy

摘要

Multiple anaerobic hepatic abscesses were demonstrated by hepatobiliary scintigraphy using Tc-99m diisopropyliminodiacetic acid (DISIDA). Ga-67 citrate scintigraphy further showed the abscesses to be at least partially Ga-67 avid. Ultrasonography and computed tomography of the liver confirmed the structural nature of the hepatic lesions.
