A new species ofSphaerophragmiumonMonodora brevipesfrom Nigeria

Sphaerophragmium annulatipes, which parasitizesMonodora brevipesBenth. (Anonaceae), is described as a new species and the 18th species ofSphaerophragmium. It is characterized by possessing numerous, sharply pointed projections on the teliospore wall and stout, carotiform, pedicels with annularly rugose walls.
