Opened in August 1995, Nation Pizza Products' bakery and pizza manufacturing plant in Schaumburg, III., contract-produces pizza crusts in more than 150 styles. It also supplies its own customized sauces, cheeses and meats to its retail deli, supermarket, restaurant, food-service, distributors, contract feeder and vending customers. The plant employs more than 500 people. Emphasizing sanitation, the Schaumburg plant is committed to maintaining Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and USDA frozen food plant operating procedures.
