摘要

We develop a high-speed, automatic-gain-control, burst-mode (AGC-BM) EDFA and high-sensitive, wide-dynamic range optical burst-mode receiver for the optical packet switching network. With these devices, we successfully demonstrate a field trial of 80 (10 × 8λ) Gbps colored optical packet switching of 4K and 2K uncompressed streaming using SOA based broadcast-and-select switch and optical-code label processing for the first time.
