Synthesis of N-Alkylacrylamides from Commercial Fractions of Higher Olefins by the Hitter Reaction

The influence of temperature, reactant ratio, and catalyst (sulfuric acid) concentration on the product composition in synthesis of higher N-acrylamides from acrylonitrile and commercial fractions of α-olefins C8, C_(10), C_(12)-C_(14), C_(16)-C_(18), and of propylene trimers and tetramers by the Ritter reaction was examined.
