This, the third in a series of four articles describing activities in the GAUDI Project, presents some results from a study which is monitoring the impact on individuals' travel behaviour of the introduction of an electronic Toll Ring in the Norwegian city of Trondheim in 1991. The monitoring study in Trondheim is based on the results of travel diary surveys carried out one year before (1990) and one year after (1992) the introduction of the Toll Ring, complemented by analysis of operational data automatically collected by the toll company.
