A new approach is considered to calculating the hydraulic resistance of a direct-flow cyclone, which allows one to refine the physical essence of the process and to estimate the aerodynamic perfection of the blades with various designs as well as ways of reducing the hydraulic resistance and controlling the spiraling flow.
