摘要

During the last few decades, serious efforts have been made to develop blood- compatible materials for prosthetic implant purposes. Surface-induced thrombosis and embolism are the major hurdles in the development of prosthetic cardiovascular implants. Hence surface modifications of polymeric material are emphasized in this work.
