Calendar and cycle life estimation of 100Ah lithium-ion cells for space applications

Calendar and cycle life characteristics of the 100Ah lithium-ion battery cell were evaluated at various temperatures and at various states of charge ft)r more than 20months or 2500 cycles at DOD50. From the Results of both life test data and deterioration model, we estimate that the cell has enough capability to achieve the mission life of satellite applications.
