Abdominal radionuclide angiograms performed on a routine basis as part of a conventional radiocolloid liver-spleen scan permit the assessment of the vascularization of the liver, spleen, and focal defects that may be present. The nuclear medicine physician should be made aware that deviations from the normal scintigraphic pattern may occur and their recognition could sometimes have clinical management implications. These three patients are just one example of such serendipitous findings (1,2).
