Ultra Broadband Ultrasonic Imaging

We have proposed the novel method for ultra broadband ultrasonic echography. This method is based on use of the PVDF as a receiving transducer. The probe made of bi-layer of PZT and PVDF as a transmitter and a receiver, respectively. We carried out the experiments by using the probe. As a result, 10th order harmonic components are measured. We show the higher order harmonic images, phase images, frequency images, and phase difference images of the phantom and human arm.
