This paper presents a fuzzy multi-objective linear programmingapproach to solve the energy allocation problem. For this, nineenergy resources and six household end uses are considered. Anoptimal solution will be extracted, and an explicit interactivesensitivity analysis will be dealt with. As the results obtaineddepend on the fuzzy nature of the objective functions and on theconflicting nature of some of the objectives among themselves, theproposed method can be regarded as a decision support tool for thedecision makers who can be guided by its results to arrive at anappropriate solution interactively. It will be shown thatoptimization using fuzzy logic can provide the decision-makers withmore flexibility that would assist them in the allocation of variousresources to meet the various end-uses by studying the effects ofseveral factors such as price variations, membership function shapesand membership function reference values.
