Sirotrema: a new genus in the Tremellaceae

Sirotrema, a new genus in the Tremellaceae, is described forS.translucens(Gordon) Bandoni, comb, nov.,S.parvula, Bandoni, sp. nov., andS.pusillaBandoni, sp. nov. The species, parasitizing hypodermataceous fungi, share basidiocarp characteristics with taxa inSirobasidiumandTremella. Their haploid states are yeasts.
