Management of Stab Wounds to the Pregnant UterusA Case Report and a Review of the Literature

NA;Only 18 cases of stab wounds to the pregnant uterus have been reported to date. This paper presents an additional casemdash;a patient at 26 weeks' gestation with multiple voluntary stab wounds to the abdomen and lower chest resulting in fetal death. The literature is reviewed and management of abdominal stab wounds in pregnancy is discussed.
