The issue of PM2.5 regulation for the exhausted fine aerosol particles is still important to evaluate the damage of human health effects. To obtain the health effects of fine particles, deposition fraction of the aerosol particles in the human respiratory tracts has been analyzed numerically by the mass median aerodynamic diameter and the geometric standard deviation in relation to the respiratory pattern. At the regions both the mouth-pharynx (M-P) and the trachea-bronchial (T-B) regions, the partial deposition fractions of particles larger than 0.5μm in diameter for adults and children were obviously different from each other, corresponding to the flow rate and tidal volume of respiration, particle size distribution, and particle density. On the other hand, the particle smaller than 0.5μm in diameter is mostly deposited at the pulmonary (P) and T-B regions by the diffusion force.
