Bile Leakage Over the Hepatic Surface Detected by Hepatobiliary Imaging

A bile leakage over the hepatic surface mimicking the shape of the liver was demonstrated by the hepatobiliary imaging with Tc-99m diethyl IDA. Without delayed imaging, it might have been misinterpreted, as the retained activity caused by the obstruction of common hepatic duct. Delayed imaging and careful observation were important for detecting bite leakage.
