The Latest: UK wholesale fibre provider CityFibre states that one of its largest shareholders, Mubadala Investment Company,has committed an additional GBP300mn equity investment in the company.In September 2021, CityFibre had finalised its largest financing round, with a total GBP1.13bn raised in a mix of debt and equity.Mubadala was one of the main backers in that round, along with Swiss-based Interogo Holdings. The former had invested a totalGBP500mn, adding to a total GBP800mn. Currently, CityFibre’s minority shareholders also include Antin Infrastructure Partnersand Goldman Sachs' West Street Infrastructure Partners.
