The present study aims to investigate the behavior of steel-concrete composite cellular beams subjected to hogging moment. A finite element model is developed and validated via ABAQUS software. The I-section dimensions, free span, hogging moment distribution, and the key geometric parameters of cellular beams such as the opening diameter and web post width are varied. In total, 360 models were analyzed. The results are compared with analytical procedures. It was concluded that there were divergences between the comparisons of numerical results with the analytical models. The key parameters of the cellular beams showed a significant influence on the resistant capacity, as well as the failure mode of the models. The I-section dimensions were the parameters that had the greatest influence on the load carrying capacity of the models.
