Houston-Evantic, a portfolio company of Edgewater Capital Partners, has acquired Vertec Polymers, a manufacturer of highly engineered advanced polymeric materials. Vertec designs and manufactures polyetheretherketone, polyphenylene sulfide, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyfluoro-alkyl, and other advanced polymeric materials through its research and development lab and testing facility. Vertec joins Evantic's existing portfolio of innovative providers of high-performance engineered solutions, Al-tamira Material Solutions and Precision Fluorocarbon.
