In 2017, the Full Court of the Supreme Court of South Australia dismissed an appealagainsta sentence of 12 I years imprisonmentforthe owner of a trucking company, who was found guilty by the Supreme Court of South Australia of endangering Life and manslaughter. The sentence was imposed because the ownerfailed to rectify defective brakes on trucks involved in a near-miss and a fatality.
