Over the past decades, C-C bond activation has been an attractive area in organic synthesis due to its power in construction of complexed molecules. This review covers photocatalytic C-C bond activation methods that have been become an emerging area in organic synthesis in the past decades. The literature coverage is from 2001 to December 2021.
