Perfetti Van Melle to add candy manufacturing line

Perfetti Van Melle USA will add a new candy manufacturing line at its Boone County, Kentucky, facility. The addition will also support installation of an automated packaging area. Project completion is expected by June 2022. The expansion is anticipated to create at least 16 new production positions. Perfetti produces a range of confection brands that include Airheads, Mentos, Fruit-tella and Chupa Chups from its two facilities near Erlanger, Kentucky. Perfetti Van Melle USA is an affiliate of privately-owned Perfetti Van Melle Group headquartered in Breda, Netherlands, and Lainate, Italy.
