One to watch

I would describe myself as a maker and my work as a combination of craft, design and art. I follow the process that I believe best suits the idea. For instance, the hands-on experience and energetic way that work emerges from handbuilding produces a certain earthly presence that suits my Stacks series. In contrast, plaster work and slip-casting, which are a different mindset, can produce exquisite effects and are pleasing for their pure, untouched qualities. I used them to support the otherworldly aesthetic of these Wishing Jars.
