New Mexico commissioners seeking 2023 resource adequacy plans from utilities

The New Mexico Public Regulatory Commission is seeking details from the state’s three investor-owned utilities on 2023 and 2024 resource adequacy plans, including strategy for scheduled curtailments. A workshop is scheduled for Sept. 22 where the Public Service Company of New Mexico, El Paso Electric and Southwestern Public Service Company will present details plans followed by a discussion among stakeholders, IOUs and commissioners.
