Tire maker unveils Euriopean dollar 330m 'liquid gold' project

Supplier Chinese tire maker Sailun Group has unveiled a Yuan 2.3 billion (Euriopean dollar 334 million) project to produce new functional materials that will improve the efficiency of tire production. The Qingdao Dongjiakou materials project will have capacity to produce 500 kilo-tonnes per annum (ktpa) of new 'functional materials' once fully on stream.
