The medical staff can no longer access the patient's room, where the automatic respirator had been switched off. He dies a few moments later. Faced with this first act of cyber-terrorism, but without revealing the identity of the victim, the Elysee orders a strike that is both symbolic and dissuasive. After a joint investigation between the DGSE and COMCYBER to identify the terrorist who lives beyond French borders, the COS deploys Zephyr HALE UAVs to analyse the hacker's environment, his habits, his weaknesses, before launching a stealthy infiltration and neutralisation operation. This act of cyberterrorism is the plot of the animated film that will be presented at the SOFINS exhibition and that will lift the veil on how the COS plans an HVI mission to neutralise a terrorist, wherever he may be. If the primary objective was to highlight the technologies and companies who support the COS on a daily basis, we also wanted to initiate a dialogue through images between entities that do not understand each other," explains Manon Genty, artistic director of "design thinking" specialists Magenta Studio. Another goal, for Colonel Vincent Rapp, is "to present the issues for future operations… While the cinematographic aspect of this custom-made film is very much influenced by the Gobelins school of animation, the context of the operations, the details, and the specificities of the Special Forces are all credible." Hackerman would thus be only a first step to encourage the DITB in the direction of forward planning and allow tomorrow's operators and industrialists to cooperate more closely. Moreover, intrigued by the approach, the AID and its "Red Team" are thought to be working on their own film, but with a more strategic and global approach.
