March 2022 imports were 535,044 tons which is about 15 below the license total published last month. April licenses indicate a further drop to 453,472 tons. Every product sector is reflecting a volume reduction comparing March imports to April licenses with OCTG declining by the highest amount. After 11 of 22 days, the linear forecast for May is way up showing 621,170 tons.
