PJM spot power continued to trend lower on the Intercontinental Exchange during Nov. 23 trading for Nov. 25 delivery as day-ahead demand saw a double-digit percentage drop. PJM West Hub day-ahead on-peak declined $6.75 to price about $51/MWh. The real-time peak contract saw smaller daily changes, down about $3.75 to price about $50/MWh. While spot prices tumbled, near-term prices saw rises on the day as the West Hub next week Nov. 28-Dec. 2 peak contract was valued almost $6 higher to $68/MWh.
