摘要

Organic electrode materials evoked wide attention due to the abundance of raw materials. Incorporating redox-active units into organic electrode materials could expand the functionality of this class of materials. In this work, three organic crystals of OC-1, OC-2 and OC-3 were synthesized based on the reaction between aminomethane and pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA), 1,4,5,8-naphthalenete-tracarboxylicdianhydride (NTCDA), and 3,4,9,10-perylene-tetracarboxylicacid-dianhydride (PTCDA), respectively. The crystals were characterized by X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analyses, infrared spectra and cyclic voltammetry measurements. The results showed that the three crystals exhibited photochromic and electrochromic properties simultaneously due to the generation of free radicals. In addition, these crystals were also investigated as cathode materials for lithium-ion battery. The resulting battery showed that the first discharge capacities of OC-1, OC-2, and OC-3 could reach to 81.5 , 93 , and 87 of their corresponding theoretical capacities.
