Silleno Picks Univation's Unipol PE Process For World-Scale Reactor Line in Atyrau

Atyrau-Silleno LLP, a subsidiary of KazMunayGas, has selected Univation Technologies' Unipol polyethylene (PE) process for a world-scale reactor line at Silleno's manufacturing facility at the integrated gas chemical complex in Atyrau Oblast, Kazakhstan. The plant, with a capacity to produce 625,000 t/y of PE, will utilize the Unipol process for the production of a wide range of high-volume, as well as premium polyethylene grades. A schedule for the project was not given.
