To accelerate the production performance and profitability of improved mustard production technologies, the Cluster Front Line Demonstrations (CFLDs) on mustard crop were conducted during rabi 2018-19 to rabi 2020-21 in Khandela, Dantaramgarh, Piprali, Dhod, Laxmangarh Fatehpur Panchayat Samiti in Sikar district of Rajasthan. It was found that the average yield of mustard crop under demonstration was 19.12 qt ha~(-1) resulting in increase of 21.62 per cent yield as compare to farmer's practice (15.72 qt ha~(-1)) during Rabi 2020-21. Three years average data indicated that CFLD practice, showed net income of Rs. 53737 ha~(-1) with B:C ratio of 3.12 as compare to farmers practice i.e. Rs. 41550 ha~(-1) with B:C ratio of 2.72. It means the net profit difference of Rs. 12187 was gain more against additional cost of Rs. 1123 from one hectare area of CFLD mustard field as compare to farmer's practice with incremental B:C ratio of 9.75. The average seed yield increase under CFLDs was highest (21.62) during 2020-21, over the farmer's practice. Thus, the complete package of practices and participatory approach in planning and conducting the demonstration definitely help in the transfer of new technology to the farmers.
