The influence of patient resilience and health status on satisfaction after total hip and knee arthroplasty

Background and purpose: Our research aimed to identify and characterise relationships between patient resilience, health status, and satisfaction following total hip and knee arthroplasty (THA/TKA). A secondary aim was to compare two frequently used instruments for measuring patient satisfaction: The Satisfaction Visual Analogue Scale (Satis VAS) and the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
