Pipe tube shipments year-to-date through November 2021, using licenses and estimates for the final month, were 11.5m tons which compares unfavorably to last year by about 353k tons or about 3.0. Energy product shipments are off by 11.2 or 504k tons which is a mix of higher OCTG shipments and much lower line pipe shipments. Construction and manufacturing product shipments are down by 2.9 or 193k tons. Domestic shipments for the same period fell by 13.7 while imports grew by 26.2. Import market share increased to 34.9 for the eleven-month period, from 26.8 last year.
