Energy storage provider Sungrow said Sept. 23 that it launched a liquid cooled, lithium-ion battery energy storage system for the North American commercial and industrial energy storage market, while a recent report identified potential lithium supply concerns. Commercial and industrial energy storage is expected to grow over the next decade with estimates that by 2030 the annual growth of the global CI energy storage market will exceed hundreds of billions of dollars, with the US being one of the largest incremental markets, the company said in a statement.
