We find that the publication on "CoronaVac/Sinovac COVID-19 Vaccine-Related Hypersensitivity Reactions (HRs) and Second-Dose Vaccine Administration: Tertiary Allergy Center Experience" is very interesting 1 . According to Gumusburun et al. 1, in patients who had HRs from the first dosage of Sinovac, the second dose can be safely administered using a progressively increased dose. We agree that the COVID-19 vaccination is both effective and safe. However, the incorrect diagnosis of HR reaction to a vaccine is not an uncommon clinical problem 2. Given the negative reaction, it is possible and necessitates a thorough study prior to diagnosis. According to the present findings, HRs should be diagnosed at the first dosage of vaccination. A false positive in diagnosis is possible. A confirmation by specific allergic test is usually required 2. When there is a history of HRs in the first dosage, the clinical choice to give a second dose of vaccination is frequently difficult.
