India etac importers into Europe see balance after supply scramble

LONDON (ICIS)--Importers of ethyl acetate (etac) into Europe from India are seeing a return to a balanced market this week following short supply in previous weeks, according to sources on Friday. A ?20/tonne increase in the cost of etac on the 8 July returned the importers to profitability for the first time in months. Sources said that as a result, producers struggled to find raw material on short notice.
