摘要

The prime objective of the proposed researchwork is to study the frequency response of a wind plantintegrated two area power system under sudden load disturbanceswhen considered under deregulated marketenvironment. The thermal power systemhas been modelledwith suitable generation constraint and governor deadbands. Erratic behaviour of wind power makes the powersystem very sensitive to frequency deviations and properfrequency control is needed for stability.Anewtiltedintegralderivative controller (TID) with type II fuzzy controller isconsidered as secondary controller forminimizing frequencyfluctuations. The gains of the controller are set at an optimalvalue with the help of newly designed hybrid Dragonfly algorithm–Whale optimization algorithm for proper controlaction. System dynamic performance with and withoutrenewable penetration is studied and robustness of theproposed controller is established under various marketconditions and varying renewable power integration.
