The notion of a garden in movement derives from observing gardening practice that works with and not against the living beings present on the site, whether they are plants, animals, fungi, or micro-organisms. This practice accompanies, protects, and sometimes enriches biodiversity. The general principle of working with the energies in place considers the behavioral diversity of the beings who populate the garden. In the plant world, the number of short-cycle species (annuals, biennials) is very high. These species have no means of survival other than seeds; they have no root system that allows them to regenerate. It is rare that the seeds disperse exactly at the foot of the mother plant, and they tend to move about the garden, carried by wind and animals. From one year to the next, they appear in different places.
