Few people working in the industrial sector will be surprised by the current chaos surrounding the roll-out of the Covid vaccination programme in the European Union.Indeed,for many the lack of awareness in Brussels about what is involved in sourcing chemical feedstock and then manufacturing and supplying pharma products,will have a very familiar ring to it.So too the clumsy appli-I cation of the'precautionary principle'in many EU coun- tries,which now threatens to undermine public confidence in the safety of at least one,if not all vaccines.
