Christophe Habas (Fig. 1) was born in 1966 in Pau (France). He received 2 PhD: a first PhD at the University Rene Descartes Paris V (1995) and a second at the University Pierre et Marie Curie Paris VI (2004). He trained at the Hopital Pitie-Salpetriere (Paris) (1997-2005) and became member of the Service de NeuroImagerie et Radiologie of the Hospital 15-20 (Paris) in 1997. He specialized in medical imaging in 2007. He became Head of the Department of Neuroimaging (Hopital des 15-20) and Associate Professor at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. He served with assiduity and professionalism the journal as Section Editor for the Neuroimaging section. Christophe was an expert in functional imaging. He was very interested in the development of new methodologies and techniques in functional imaging. In particular, he developed a special interest in exploration of the cerebellum by fMRI and tractography 1-4. He was extremely enthusiastic with students, always open to discussion and continually available to implement new research projects. He died at the age of 55 years. The cerebellum community has lost a brilliant researcher and a wonderful professor at the top of his career.
