There is one menu item that can be found in restaurants all over the globe - the burger. Whether it's purchased at a fast-food establishment or a sit-down quick service restaurant, burgers continue to be one of the most consumed foods around the world. In fact, more than half of consumers in 19 of 25 countries surveyed by Technomic, as part of its "2021 Burger Global Menu Category Report," order a burger at least occasionally when eating out. The Philippines, South Africa and the United States are the top markets for burgers.
